Volume II | December 2019
Dear Tavon Community,

As we look forward to the Holiday Season I would like to thank you all for your support over the past year. Losing my parents made 2019 a difficult year but your kind words and support made things a little easier to bear. Thank you.
Our End of The Year Giving Campaign is in full swing and will continue until the end of the year. You can support this campaign by sharing all the social media posts and emails with your friends, families, co-workers, basically share it with anyone and everyone you know!
I wish you all a warm and peaceful Holiday Season filled with family and friends.

Therese's Tip: Shop on Amazon Smile and indicate Tavon Learning Center as your charity of choice. A portion of your purchase will be donated to Tavon. Sign up for Fred Meyer rewards and indicate Tavon as your charity. You still get all your points AND Tavon gets some money!

Member Highlight
Kelsey Saario
Kelsey was the 5th member to join Tavon. That equates to over 10 years at Tavon!
Kelsey is energetic, a girl's girl, and loves quality time with her favorite people. When she gets focused on a task, she is so detail oriented. One staff noted, "To watch her is like watching a fire. She can be so focused!"
Right now, Kelsey can most likely be found talking about Santa, what she wants for Christmas, and if she's been naughty or nice this year.
Be sure to say hi to Kelsey next time you're at Tavon!

Featured Question
Q: How does paying for Friday outings work?
A: If members want to buy lunch during an outing, they should bring money with them. If they do not bring money, they will eat a packed lunch from Tavon. The cost of outings is listed on the calendar and is sent to parents in an invoice at the end of the quarter.

Tavon is in need of 1-2 more portable sleeping mats for members.
Please consider donating toward this need. Holly is accepting these donations. Be sure to specify when donating that the money is for sleeping mats!
