Paul Egly, Lindley Properties, LLC.
President
As the owner of Lindley Properties LLC, Paul is well respected for his success in business strategy. He holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Washington and has lived in the greater Seattle area his whole life. Paul has been a committed advocate for people with developmental disabilities and has quality experience as a board member for many other non-profits including Atwork! and Community Homes. Paul is the dedicated father of three children, including his daughter Sarah who attends the Tavon Learning Center.
Karen Amaya
Board Member
Karen taught in the Lake Washington School District for 32 years. From 3rd grade through 8th grade, she has worked with students in all subject areas. Her last position with the district was as Lead Teacher at Renaissance School of Arts and Science where she oversaw the school’s budget, teachers, office staff and was the liaison to the parents. During her career, she sat on multiple committees which developed and adopted curriculum for the district. She brings her enthusiasm for building strong programs, organization, and creating teams that are innovative to the Tavon Board. Karen lives in Sammamish with her husband, Cornell, and daughter, Chelsea. Chelsea has attended Tavon Learning Center for seven years and loves every day she spends with the staff and friends.
Vicki Isett
Secretary
Vicki has worked with, and on behalf of, individuals with developmental disabilities for over 30 years. Most recently she served as Executive Director for Community Homes, a housing provider for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She has also worked with families through the Arc of King County and the Bellevue School district’s special education department. Vicki holds an MBA from the UW and a master’s certificate in Organization Dynamics from Antioch University. She brings a breadth of experience to her position on the Board of Directors for Tavon Center. Vicki currently owns and operates an indie bookstore in Bothell!
Evgenia Georgiev
Board Member
With over nine years at The Boeing Company and over thirteen years in various human resources roles, Evgenia Georgiev is a seasoned Senior Global Compensation Specialist. Her expertise lies in designing and implementing incentive plans across borders, benefiting 140,000+ employees globally. A strategic thinker, she utilizes data analytics for Annual Compensation Reviews and manages recognition programs.
In prior roles as a Total Rewards Partner and HR Generalist, Evgenia excelled in guiding compensation strategies, fostering organizational optimization, and overseeing core HR initiatives. Armed with a Master’s in Human Resources Management and a PHR Certification, she seamlessly blends academic prowess with hands-on experience.
Passionate about diversity and inclusion, Evgenia holds a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace certificate from USF Muma College of Business. Her commitment extends beyond the corporate realm, contributing to community causes.
Beyond her professional achievements, she resides in Snoqualmie Valley with her husband and two children. An avid lover of nature, she enjoys cooking, hiking, mountain skiing, and takes delight in nature walks with her two French bulldogs.
