Tavon Learning Center is a greater Seattle based 501(c)(3) non-profit that empowers adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing active learning and goal-based programs. We use our unique combination of outdoor gardens, real-life settings, and peer coaching to help people acquire home and community skills for better living.

Our members love getting out and exploring the community! Whether it’s staying active at the YMCA, enjoying some feline therapy at Seattle Meowtropolitan, connecting with nature at Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center, or playing games and building social skills at Mox Boarding House, we’re always on the move.

These outings help our members build independence, stay engaged, and have fun while learning new skills. 🏊‍♂️🐱🌿🎲
